We’re currently looking for an industrial engineering intern to lend a hand to our continuous improvement team!

The incumbent is a strategic partner within the organization. The main responsibilities of the position relate to improving the plant’s manufacturing processes. It should be noted that the Industrial Engineering Trainee will be responsible for continuous improvement documentation.

Tasks and responsibilities?
- Participate in projects related to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
- Participate in the definition of manufacturing processes
- Highlight improvement opportunities and help identify solutions
- Develop and implement solutions
- Develop and support tools, databases and Excel files
- 5S activity
- Create and update work instructions and methods
- Optimize work tools and manage standard and motion times
- Participate in the search for solutions and follow up on resulting actions
- Set up new work centers (tables, equipment, tools, training)
- Participate in pilot and pre-production activities
- Carry out any other related tasks or projects.
Job requirement:
- BAC in industrial engineering (unfinished) or other relevant field
- DEC in industrial engineering (asset)
- Autonomy and initiative

Compensation: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
Work schedule : 10 hours. Day shift. Ability to commute or relocate:
Montreal-East, QC H1B 5H3: Commute with ease or plan a move prior to starting shift (Mandatory)
